A new 'Charlie Countryman' trailer has debuted online through Millennium Entertainment, featuring Shia LaBeouf and Evan Rachel Wood as lovers with a not-so-smooth road ahead of them. But it's cool. If LaBeouf can handle Lars Van Trier's 'Nymphomaniac,' he can handle 'Hannibal' himself, Mads Mikkelsen.

Premiering earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, 'Charlie Countryman' is directed by Fredrik Bond. Yahoo Movies released the latest trailer, opening with a trip to Bucharest, an 'Across the Universe'-type sequence of drug trips, and LaBeouf's encounter with the lovely Wood. LaBeouf is certainly willing to show off his buff self for his roles.

From the official plot synopsis:

When his late mother appears in a vision and tells him to go to Bucharest, Charlie immediately boards a plane across the Atlantic. But when he meets a fellow passenger, Charlie finds himself with another promise to fulfill. Charlie does so – and falls head over heels in love with Gabi, a beautiful musician. However, a vicious gangster has already laid claim to Gabi, and has no intention of letting her go. Determined to protect her, Charlie enters into the hallucinatory, Romanian underworld filled with violence and, strangely enough, love.

Although this is Bond's feature film debut, it grabbed audiences' attention at its premiere, and he was even one of the contenders for the 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' directing gig. So he is definitely one to keep an eye on.

'Charlie Countryman' also stars Rupert Grint ('Harry Potter') and Melissa Leo ('Olympus Has Fallen'), and is set for release on November 15.
