New Clip From ‘Part Of Me’ Shows A Teenage Katy Perry

Katy Perry's rise to stardom is chronicled in her new 3D biopic entitled 'Katy Perry: Part of Me' and a brand new clip of Katy at the young age of 18 talking about her life is now online.

The clip mostly shows Perry hanging out with her parents. Her mom answers a question about watching her daughter on MTV, which she says that she doesn't if her daughter has most of her clothes off. Her father then puts in his two cents, suggesting that his spouse is full of it. Katy meanwhile looks bummed about the whole thing.

The clip also shows Katy as a teenager, talking about how she wants to leave her comfort zone and go explore the world. As that goal has been accomplished now that she's a world famous pop star and multimillionaire, it's good they dug up that clip to prove that her dreams have come true.

'Katy Perry: Part of Me' follows the singer's life during her California Dreams tour, giving fans insider access to her life both on and off the stage, including some commentary on her recent divorce from Russell Brand. The movie opens in 3D and 2D on July 5th.
