If you think Hollywood has run out of "vs." ideas then think again. We've got ninjas vs. zombies, zombies vs. strippers, aliens going up against cowboys, aliens going up against The Fresh Prince and now we're going to get 'Dinosaurs vs. Aliens.' Why? That's not the question Hollywood ever asks. It's always, "Why not?"

A brand new trailer for the upcoming motion comic being made by 'Men in Black' series director Barry Sonnenfeld and comic book writer extraordinaire Grant Morrison. The story is pretty self explanatory, so self explanatory that we're not exactly sure how this idea could even fill up a comic book, much less a planned 3D CG movie, which is what Sonnenfeld has in mind.

Collider has the trailer and synopsis for the motion comic. Will this be a big hit in Hollywood and get made into a feature film? Who knows.

Created by Barry Sonnenfeld and written by comic book superstar Grant Morrison, “Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens” is a motion comic version of Liquid’s upcoming graphic novel based on a secret world war battle that was never recorded in our history books. When an alien invasion attacks Earth in the age of the dinosaurs, our planet’s only saviors are the savage prehistoric beasts which are much more intelligent than humanity has ever imagined.
