Are you guys ready for another outing with your favorite aging action stars? You won't have to wait long, it seems: 'The Expendables 3' has gotten an August 2014 release date.

Deadline reports that Lionsgate has set 'The Expendables 3' at the end of summer next year on August 15, 2014. That's kind of a movie season dumping ground -- trickier films, and ones studios aren't sure how to market properly, typically get dumped in the August slot. But with several amazing releases hitting theaters this August ('You're Next,' 'Elysium' and 'The World's End,' primarily), that slot might just be turning around.

Then again, 'The Expendables 2' wasn't that great -- still, the films have an audience, and with a third one guaranteed so quickly after the release of the sequel, it's inevitable that 'The Expendables 3' will fare well at the box office.

A few new and exciting names have already been tossed about for the third film, including Milla Jovovich, Nicolas Cage and Jackie Chan. If you can't wait until 2014, though, you can see 'Expendables' stars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in 'Escape Plan' on October 18, 2013. The classic action stars are joined by 50 Cent, Jim Caviezel, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D'Onofrio and Amy Ryan in that film, which follows the world's biggest authority on structural design, who is trapped in -- and has to escape -- a prison he designed.
