Alongside a new comparison trailer for Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD, Square Enix has announced a limited edition version of the remastered game.

The original versions of Final Fantasy 10 and Final Fantasy 10-2 were by no stretch of the imagination visually unappealing. However, the touching-up both titles have gotten for the HD collection really amps up the incredible presentation that much more. As you can see in the side-by-side comparison above, the remaster will be in full wide-screen, with a bevvy of improvements to character models and environments.

For those of you who've been chomping at the bit to get a copy of the collection, while Sony and Square Enix still haven't revealed an official release date, a special limited edition has been announced. Now, anyone who pre-orders the game will receive a 24-page art book. These will only be available as a first run, so if you want to see some previously unreleased (in the U.S. at least) art from one of the greatest RPGs of all time, now you've got your chance.
