Breaking Bad fans have already given the series a second life in AMC’s Better Call Saul, but there may be yet a third layer to Walter White’s legacy. Creator Vince Gilligan has begun development of a virtual reality project based on the iconic meth drama, potentially with talent attached.
It took years to finally get an adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis’ Powers comic off the ground, but only two to bring it crashing back to Earth. After two seasons, Bendis confirms that the expensive and ambitious PlayStation series will come to an end.
Is it Free Comic Book TV day? Well, if the first episode of AMC’s Preacher weren’t enough to tide you over, Sony PlayStation’s Powers seems to have followed suit for Season 2. The full 2016 premiere is available online, free of charge.
Whether or not the first season of PlayStation’s comic-adapted Powers did justice to its Brian Michael Bendis origins, it looks as if Season 2 heavily intends to right the ship with an increased scale, and one of the book’s most famous stories.
