'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' finally comes out later this month and we're just now receiving an answer to a question that's been plaguing some fans -- "Who is voicing the masked supervillain Cobra Commander?" and the answer to that question is...

... "Robert Baker," revealed through his recent interview with PopSugar.

This is actually a pleasant surprise. Rather than grab some kind of celebrity voice for the famous 'G.I. Joe' antagonist, they've cast a working character actor who you've probably seen even if you weren't aware of it. In addition to playing a role on the current season of 'Justified,' Baker had a stint on 'Grey's Anatomy' and numerous other shows. It's a callback to the days when voiceover work was a specialized field, not a place for movie stars to get a check for a few days of work.

In terms of the man underneath the costume, director Jon Chu revealed to Comic Book Movie that it was actor Luke Bracey.

Since the part was played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt in 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,' many fans were expecting someone familiar to jump into the recording booth for the famously hooded bad guy, but we approve of the decision to go with someone who's not a household name. No big name could have possibly competed with Levitt's nutty performance, so going with a voice that won't be immediately recognizable allows the character to stand on his own.

'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' opens on March 28, and for more info on the movie, check out PopSugar's full interview with Baker below, including additional tidbits on 'The Lone Ranger.'
