There’s some kind of joke to be made about how it took the arrival of a Spanish-language preview for Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur for us to hear the film’s English-language voice cast in action. This new international trailer also gives us our best look yet at the movie’s actual plot and characters, which is a nice change of pace from the lovely-but-vague early teases.

The story of The Good Dinosaur is a simple adventure wrapped in a high concept – what if the dinosaurs never died out? And what if a young dinosaur met a prehistoric human and adopted him as a pet? And what if all of this happens while that dinosaur is on a grand journey through the wilderness after being separated from his family in a freak accident? Pixar: always asking the big questions.

Anyway, the trailer lets us hear Raymond Ochoa as as Arlo the Apatosaurus, continuing Pixar’s tend of casting actual kids in their movies instead of celebrities performing in a slightly higher pitch. If it’s the bigger names you want, the footage also offers a few lines of dialogue from Jeffrey Wright as Arlo’s father, who sounds like the most intense dinosaur to ever walk the earth. We are also treated to a few words from Sam Elliott’s Butch, the leader of a Tyrannosaurus Rex gang. Even when he’s not actually on screen, you can hear his mustache.

The Good Dinosaur, which also features Frances McDormand, Alan Tudyk, Anna Paquin, and Steve Zahn, opens on November 25, 2015.
