Looks like Danno's past is coming back to haunt him in a big way, and we're not being terribly figurative about that "big" part. 'Hawaii' Five-0' has picked up yet another famous guest star to hit the beach for season 3, that of film star Ving Rhames. Rhames will guest star as an old acquaintance of Danno's, but will the two be on friendly terms, or should paradise brace itself for a bloody battle?

TVLine is reporting that 'Hawaii Five-0' season 3 has just gotten a bit bigger by casting the imposing Ving Rhames for a single episode arc. The former 'Pulp Fiction' star will take the role of Billy, a man from Danno’s past, seen in flashbacks to the the detective’s time as a police officer in his home state of New Jersey. Reportedly, the flashbacks will show viewers "what Danny is really made of."

Of course, that isn't to say that Rhames' character might not find himself in present-day Hawaii as well, as CBS notes that the conflict between Danno and Billy "going to get bloody." 'Hawaii Five-0' will return for its third season on CBS on Monday, September 24.

Elsewhere, other guests for the coming season of 'Hawaii Five-0' include Christine Lahti as McGarrett's mother Doris, Ed Asner reprising his role as smuggler August March, and Carlos Bernard in an unspecified role.

What say you? Will Ving Rhames send Danno to his bloody end? What could have happened between them in the past? Tell us what you're most looking forward to about 'Hawaii Five-0' season 3 in the comments!
