New ‘How I Met Your Mother’ Promo: Who’s Ready to “Ring Up?”

This past Monday's all-new 'How I Met Your Mother' episode "Band or DJ?" may have veered a bit toward the cartoonish at times, but by the end had us primed and ready for Robin and Barney to continue planning their engagement toward a fateful wedding. Of course, with an additional season on the horizon there's no telling how long it could take to get to that point, but what does the latest 'How I Met Your Mother' promo for next Monday's "Ring Up!" reveal? Has Ted found a new lady already?

'How I Met Your Mother's questions seem only to grow as the series goes on, with an announcement of a ninth season due any day now. Before we get there however, next Monday's "Ring Up!" will see Robin's new engagement ring having a rather musical effect on the men in her life, while Ted takes to dating a much younger girl ('Pretty Little Liars' Ashley Benson) at Barney's urging.

CBS has released a new promo for the episode, airing Monday January 21, but will its musical extravaganza live up to the 100th episode's "Nothing Suits Me Like A Suit?" And why does Barney seem so bizarrely insistent on Ted dating a younger woman?  One who probably doesn't even recognize the significance of her own R2-D2 iPhone casing?
