Joss Whedon thinks that comedian Mike Birbiglia's film 'Sleepwalk With Me' is a threat to a little movie you might not have heard of -- 'The Avengers.' You see, 'The Avengers' is a modest film and it needs all the movie screens it can get. So join Joss Whedon in boycotting 'Sleepwalk With Me.'

Do you love America and freedom? Good, then you'll love 'The Avengers.' Joss Whedon's film has made a measly $617.3 million in the United States and is only playing on 200 screens right now. To add insult to injury, it's only $40 million away from being the second highest-grossing film of all time. And now comedian Mike Birbiglia's new film, 'Sleepwalk With Me' is threatening to steal some of those much-needed movie screens away from 'The Avengers,' taking food right off of Whedon's table. The nerve!

Of course this is all in good fun, but the video below features Joss Whedon appealing to you to join him in his boycott of 'Sleepwalk With Me.'

The film is based on Birbiglia's book and stand-up of the same title, and follows him as he tries to hit the big time as a comedian. Unable to commit to his long-term girlfriend or express himself, he develops a dangerous sleepwalking habit. 'Sleepwalk With Me' co-stars Lauren Ambrose and Carol Kane.
