Okay, with that out of the system, the only two reasons why her concert film 'Katy Perry: Part of Me' should be in three dimensions - make that one reason - is that Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus had success with their multi-dimensional concert films. Here's the trailer for Perry's ripped-from-the-headlines documentary.

One of the big adjustments for modern cinema is going to be how fast a movie can make it to the big screen. The trailer suggests the film deals with Perry's recent divorce from Russell Brand, which happened at the end of 2011. Then again, how much the film deals with that (or if it happened before or after the concert footage) is unknown. Perhaps they use the divorce to show her triumph over adversity. This seems to be part biography, part concert, which is the way of the Bieber doc.

The trailer also emphasizes two things that aren't on her chest: her religious upbringing and her constant changes of outfits and hair styles (the latter may be a little about her chest). The film is directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz - both making their feature film debuts, and both have worked on numerous reality TV shows. The film is due out fourth of July weekend, now dated for July 5.
