During the week of E3 2013, Best Buy will have exclusive playable demos of games Nintendo announces and shows at the convention for fans to enjoy.

On Friday's Nintendo Direct, Reggie Fils-Aime took a few minutes to talk about Nintnedo's plans for E3. Though the company won't have a traditional press conference, Nintendo is still planning on having new games on display for the press to demo at the convention. Typically, those demos are only playable at the event, but that won't be the case this year.

As a bonus to fans in North America, many of the demos Nintendo will have on display will be playable around the country at over 100 select Best Buy retail stores. More details on when, where, and what games will be available will come closer to E3, but this is a phenomenal first. Instead of only reading about Nintendo's games or watching video presentations online, we'll actually be able to enjoy the same fresh gameplay almost immediately.

Now if we could only get Microsoft and Sony to follow suit.
