'Iron Man 3' and 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' got their screen time during last night's MTV Movie Awards, and now it's time for 'Pacific Rim' to snag the limelight. The first international TV spot for Guillermo del Toro's robots-vs-monsters showdown has hit with some more brief bits of the action.

Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Ron Perlman star in this epic battle between man and beast. The story seems like a clean mixture of 'Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers' and that 'South Park' episode with Cthulhu -- when a swarm of gargantuan monsters rises up from the ocean's depths, mankind has to create their own form of monster to battle the threat.

As depicted in the new spot, their main line of defense, these Jaeger robots, is linked up to the pilots so that every move Hunnam and his crew make is perfectly mimicked by their animatronic avatars. The story alone promises a lot of action and destruction, and we have a feeling del Toro won't disappoint.
