Rejoice, PlayStation fans, for you will not have to break the bank when you pick up your sweet PlayStation 4 games during the console's launch later this year.

An article on ShackNews reports the site reached out to Sony to ask if the pricing of first-party titles for the PlayStation 4 will match Microsoft's and received this reply:

"Correct, we have announced the pricing for our first party line up of PS4 launch and launch window games. All four titles, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, Knack, and inFamous: Second Son are all $59.99."

Again, third-party publishers have yet to weigh in and offer any pricepoints for their games, but we're hoping they follow suit and match Sony and Microsoft's first-party title pricing.

Let us know how much you'd be willing to pay for a next-gen video game and whether or not you think third-party publishers will raise the current standard from $59.99 to $69.99.
