We’ve reached a point where Netflix can sometimes overshadow itself by the number of originals premiering each week, and family saga Bloodline certainly supported an understated approach in its 2015 premiere. Now, the Damages-created drama is back for Season 2, setting a May return with the first photos.

In the summer of 2013, my wife and I watched the first season of Orange Is the New Black in seven days. In the summer of 2014, we watched the second season of Orange Is the New Black in eight days. This summer, we watched the third season of Orange Is the New Black.

Among Netflix’s original fare, it’d be hard to argue that Bloodline proved a breakout hit with either critics or viewers, though the streaming site isn’t generally one to let things go (cough, Marco Polo).
