Just when we thought news of 'SNL' season 40's big shakeups and early host announcements had come to a standstill before the September 27 premiere, yet another famous face may make a return appearance on the long-running NBC sketch comedy series. According to a new report, Jim Carrey will make his third hosting turn in an early season 40 episode, in promotion of upcoming sequel 'Dumb and Dumber To.'

'Dumb and Dumber 2' is pretty much the opposite of this summer's surprise hit 'Lucy'. Instead of a woman being propelled toward using 100% of her brain, we have two guys who are barely using any of it. So, what better way to promote 'Dumb and Dumber 2' than with two new 'Lucy' style photos (but, without Scarlett Johansson and with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels instead)...

'Dumb and Dumber 2' (officially titled 'Dumb and Dumber To') might not be hitting theaters until November (you've already waited 20 years to see it, you can hold out a few more months), but stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are already hard at work on the promo trail.

The 'Dumb and Dumber 2' trailer is here, and it shows that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels haven't lost a step in returning to Harry and Lloyd's idiotic shoes. Sure, late in the game sequels aren't always great, but this suggests that the magic could very well be back.

The first 'Dumb and Dumber 2' trailer will officially arrive with '22 Jump Street' next week, but you don't have to wait until then to get a new look at Harry and Lloyd's grand return. A new poster debuted online and it showcases the return of a major character from the original film -- yes, we're talking about the stupid car shaped like a dog.

The first 'Dumb and Dumber 2' posters have officially hit, not only reaffirming that this movie is indeed happening, but also calling back to two of the classiest suits we've ever seen grace the silver screen. You know which ones we are talking about ...

We had previously seen a handful of photos from the 'Dumb and Dumber 2' set, but up until this point, we haven't seen anything official from the upcoming sequel. That all changed today as directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly posted the first official 'Dumb and Dumber 2' photo to Twitter.

We know it's no fun to have surprises spoiled, but this is too good to ignore. Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence has joined the cast of 'Dumb and Dumber To' for a small role, and we couldn't be happier for her, because Lawrence has revealed herself to be a 'Dumb and Dumber' super-fan.

'Dumb and Dumber 2' recently began production in Georgia, as the first set pics of the reunited Harry (Jeff Daniels) and Lloy (Jim Carrey) have spilled out. In addition to the new flood of casting additions, like 'The Walking Dead' star Laurie Holden, comedian Rob Riggle has now joined in the fun.
