New ‘Dumb and Dumber 2′ Posters Look Awfully Familiar

'Dumb and Dumber 2' is pretty much the opposite of this summer's surprise hit 'Lucy'. Instead of a woman being propelled toward using 100% of her brain, we have two guys who are barely using any of it. So, what better way to promote 'Dumb and Dumber 2' than with two new 'Lucy' style photos (but, without Scarlett Johansson and with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels instead).

"The average person uses 10% of their brain capacity. Imagine what she could do with 100%." That was the original 'Lucy' tagline, which has been reappropriated for these new 'Dumb and Dumber 2' posters, which are just about perfect. It's weird: in a world where so many long-awaited sequels disappoint, we can't help but get really excited for 'Dumb and Dumber 2' which looks hilarious so far, even though it's been 20 years since the original.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: ‘Dumb and Dumber To.’ The original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given.

‘Dumber and Dumber 2,’ which is officially titled ‘Dumb and Dumber To,’ will hit theaters November 14, a month (almost to the day) before the original film’s 20th anniversary. Check out the film's new 'Lucy'-inspired posters below.
