Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of the popular 1960s NBC spy series ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ is very much a throwback to the classic spy movies. Whereas most modern spy movies, like ‘Skyfall’ or the upcoming ‘Kingsman’, do their best to distance themselves from the Roger Moore style, ‘U.N.C.L.E.’ actually embraces it. It’s been a little while since we’ve gotten a new Guy Ritchie film—three years, in fact–but the director is currently working on a film adaptation of the classic spy series ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,’ starring ‘Man of Steel’ Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer. Today brings our first sneak peek at the upcoming film, featuring Cavill, Hammer, and co-star Alicia Vikander, which means a trailer should be coming along shortly.

‘Knights of the Round Table’ directed by Guy Ritchie, is scheduled to open in July of 2016. It’s already got Charlie Hunnam lined up to play King Arthur and Astrid Berges-Frisbey as Guinevere. But there’s no Round Table without an evil square to battle against, a part that Variety says will likely be played by Jude Law, who is now “in negotiations” to co-star in the film.

There have been various new 'King Arthur' projects in the works for a while now, but the latest incarnation will put Guy Ritchie behind the camera to kick off the first in a planned series of six films -- and they've just found their leading man: 'Sons of Anarchy' and 'Pacific Rim' star Charlie Hunnam has been crowned the king.

Though we had heard rumors about Tom Cruise starring in a Guy Ritchie-helmed adaptation of 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,' it looks like the project is moving forward and has just added Armie Hammer as Cruise's partner in arms.
