Steve Jobs Biopic Eyes Kate Winslet for Female Lead
Just last month, Natalie Portman was in talks to star in the troubled Steve Jobs biopic, which recently landed at Universal after being dropped by Sony (which has been dealing with enough problems of its own in recent weeks). Portman quickly turned down the role of the film’s female lead opposite Michael Fassbender, and although production on the biopic has been troubled, the film continues to pick up new cast members. The latest update on the project has Universal eyeing Kate Winslet to fill their Natalie Portman-shaped void.

'Twilight' Comes Back From the Dead With New Short Films
After four books, a slew of online fan fiction, merchandise, and five feature films, we all thought 'The Twilight Saga' had officially been laid to rest. But, as we learned from 'Game of Thrones,' "what is dead may never die." Lionsgate announced that a series of short films taking place in Stephanie Meyer's popular world of vampires and shapeshifters will be created by aspiring female filmmakers.

‘True Detective’ Season 2: OK, Seriously, Here’s Who We Really Think Should Star
HBO's ‘True Detective’ has neither completed the course of its eight-episode run, nor has that Nic Pizzolato-scripted series even officially attained a season 2 renewal, but recently the internet has been abuzz with #TrueDetectiveSeason2 casting choices, both real and fake. The meme may have run its course, but we decided to take a serious approach to pool Hollywood A-list talent we’d like to see

'Triple Nine' Adds Michael B. Jordan, Gal Gadot and More
On its own, 'Triple Nine' doesn't offer audiences much intrigue. A heist thriller? Where's the hook? Well, the hook is apparently the illustrious cast, which already includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Casey Affleck and Kate Winslet. But now a bushel of stars are in the process of joining, as well, all of who are hotly in demand.

In 1997, James Cameron unleashed 'Titanic,' his epic blockbuster about the ill-fated maiden voyage of the notorious ship and the fictional love story between Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet). The film was a smashing success and was nominated for 14 Academy Awards, winning 11, including statues for Best Picture and Best Director for Cameron. In 2012, Cameron released a 3D version of

The business of adapting bestselling young-adult books into movies can result in untold riches (see 'The Hunger Games' and 'Harry Potter') or it can result in something instantly and completely forgettable (does anyone remember 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones'?). The upcoming adaptation of Veronica Roth's novel is certainly hoping for the former, and unlike so much of the competition, the n

‘Labor Day’ Review
Jason Reitman's new film 'Labor Day' is adapted from a Joyce Maynard novel, and while her literary pedigree holds some water, what ends up represented here leads me to think it's one of those books with Fabio on the cover. It's New England, it's the 80s and Hank (Gattlin Griffith) is the emo-ist kid in the world. He's got a reason to be. He lives alone with his clinically depressed mother (Kate Wi
