The new Wolverine sequel — officially titled Logan — is reportedly based in part on Mark Millar’s Old Man Logan comic-book series, and though yesterday we learned that the eponymous hero is definitely older and slightly weaker in the film, it’s Professor X who’s looking worse for wear. Director James Mangold revealed a new photo of a much, much older-looking Patrick Stewart, who’s reprising his role as the leader of the X-Men for Hugh Jackman’s final outing.

The upcoming Wolverine sequel has long been hyped as Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the iconic hero, but he may not be the only one preparing to say farewell to the X-Men franchise. In a new interview, Patrick Stewart reveals that Wolverine 3 (or 2, if you’re ignoring X-Men Origins) may very well feature his last appearance as Professor Charles Xavier.

Following our first look at a scruffy, bearded Hugh Jackman, more new photos from the set of The Wolverine 3 have popped up online, giving us a peek at Patrick Stewart’s return as Professor Charles Xavier. To be honest, he doesn’t look like he’s feeling so good in these pics, which also feature Jackman and a mysterious kid co-star — which makes this look like Two and a Half X-Men.

We’ve known for quite some time that Patrick Stewart’s Professor X is returning for The Wolverine sequel, though it hasn’t been made completely official. The actor himself hinted at the possibility last year, and when we asked Hugh Jackman about it directly, he would only confirm that there were “some ideas brewing.” By now, Professor X’s involvement is pretty much guaranteed, but in case you needed additional confirmation, Stewart has provided it.

It’s a simple case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time in Jeremy Saulnier’s ‘Green Room,’ except that place happens to be a hard metal club filled with murderous neo-Nazis. After playing a show in the backwoods of Oregon, punk band The Ain’t Rights discover a dead girl in the venue’s green room. When bassist Pat (Anton Yelchin) tries to call the cops, Macon Blair’s Gabe locks them inside while Patrick Stewart’s club owner Darcy begins scheming a brutal cover-up on the outside. What was supposed to be a quick gig turns into all-out warfare between the punks and the skinheads.
