The first trailer for 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' is here, and in case you couldn't figure it out from the title, it takes place in Texas and there's a whole lot of chainsaw going on. Check out the return of Leatherface in this new trailer for the sequel to Tobe Hooper's horror classic.

'Texas Chainsaw 3D' ignores all other sequels, remakes, etc. before it and instead acts as a direct sequel to Hooper's 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre.' In 1974, a young woman barely made it out of the Sawyer family house alive. When she stumbled into town, it confirmed what many in the town already suspected -- that the Sawyers were responsible for disappearances spanning several decades, and a mob quickly moved to burn their house to the ground, killing (almost) everyone.

Now over 30 years later, a young woman named Heather receives a letter in the mail calling her to Newt, Texas, where she's inherited a distant relative's remote Victorian home. But she's also inherited some pretty messed up family history, and there's a familiar psycho with a chainsaw coming after her and her friends.

'Texas Chainsaw 3D' stars Tania Raymonde ('Lost'), Alexandra Daddario, Bill Moseley, Gunnar Hansen and Marilyn Burns, and hits theaters in January, 2013.

Our first real look at the film, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting, sadly looks a little generic, but there's no denying the terrifying power of Leatherface's chainsaw and how effective those sounds are. We're staying hopeful:
