Sporting one of the more impressive ensemble casts of the year, 'The Company You Keep' is a thriller directed by and starring Robert Redford. It's beginning to make the festival rounds, hitting Venice before traveling to Toronto, and looks like it could be a strong awards-season contender. To get you adequately prepared, a trailer for the film has premiered, which you can check out below.

Based on the trailer, 'Company' calls to mind classic Redford political thrillers like 'All the Presdent's Men' and 'Three Days of the Condor.' It sees Redford playing a civil rights lawyer whose true identity as a former 1970s radical fugitive wanted for murder is revealed when a young reporter (Shia LaBeouf) tracks him down.

In addition to Redford and LaBeouf, the film stars Susan Sarandon, Terrence Howard, Nick Nolte, Stanley Tucci, Julie Christie, Brit Marling and Chris Cooper. And even more.

Sony Pictures Classics will release 'The Company You Keep' later this year.
