‘The Hobbit’ Clip: Bilbo, Meet Sting!

After countless images, posters, trailers and behind-the-scenes material released for 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' are you ready to watch the first clip from Peter Jackson's upcoming movie?

It seems like forever since we've seen something from the upcoming 'Hobbit' movie that's worth our while (seeing the 87th behind-the-scenes photo or yet another international poster just doesn't have the same effect as they used to). Thankfully, during the Thanksgiving weekend, the Syfy channel aired an exclusive first clip from 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' featuring the moment when Gandalf (Ian McKellen) bestows Sting onto a young Bilbo (Martin Freeman).

In case you missed it, the folks at The Movie Box recorded the clip and posted it online, which means since it doesn't seem like an official release, it'll probably get pulled as soon as Warner Bros. finds out. So enjoy it while you can below, but check back soon. We're guessing more clips from 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' will be released in time for the December 14 premiere.
