It's been four years since Pascal Laugier released his fantastic French horror film 'Martyrs,' but the director has returned with his latest effort, 'The Tall Man,' an English language film co-produced by star Jessica Biel.

We've got a new clip from the film featuring a bloodied and frantic Biel on the search for her missing son.

Jessica Biel stars as Julia, a doctor living in a small, former mining town where rumors swirl about a mysterious entity known as the Tall Man. The Tall Man is blamed for the disappearances of several children in the town, and Julia sets out to uncover the truth of this mysterious kidnapper when her own son is snatched away in the middle of the night.

The film is incredibly twisty, and if you're concerned that the plot sounds a bit thin for the guy who made 'Martyrs' (a film he made during a deep depression about the possibility of life after death and utter hopelessness), fear not. 'The Tall Man' definitely has some interesting ideas and a surprisingly strong motivation. Like 'Martyrs,' 'The Tall Man' packs a powerful punch in the second act, giving you two films for the price of one, essentially.

Co-starring with Biel are Jodelle Ferland ('Silent Hill'), Stephen McHattie, and Samantha Ferris. This new clip shows Biel in a diner after  her son goes missing, and while it doesn't give much in the way of plot, it definitely shows off Biel's often overlooked acting skills.
