New TV Spots For ‘Dark Shadows’ And ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’

The past month we've been flooded with a vast array of teaser trailers for every other major summer movie, making us all bubble with anticipation over what we think looks to be the best of the upcoming season. Now the carrot is being dangled in front of our faces again with a couple of new television spots for 'Dark Shadows' along with 'Snow White and the Huntsman.'

The first one we're sneaking a peek at is 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' or what some movie-goers would like to say the better looking of the two Snow White movies that are coming out this year. Sure, Tarsem Singh's 'Mirror Mirror' is being released before Universal dishes out their own version of the "fairest of them all," but Rupert Sanders' dark, twisted and very medieval take on the classic fairy tale has been already turning heads ever since he showed off his demo reel of the film at last year's San Diego Comic-Con.

'Snow White and the Huntsman' stars Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron. The story centers on the Evil Queen's (Theron) quest to murder the young maiden Snow White (Stewart) with the help of a lowly huntsman (Hemsworth). However, the huntsman spares the girl's life and in return trains her to overthrown the Evil Queen and stop her reign.

The other movie that's surprisingly turning heads is Tim Burton's return to horror-comedy with 'Dark Shadows.' The story is based off of the late 1960s television series of the same name, centering on a family who lives in a mansion with one of their oldest living relatives, a vampire by the name of Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp). The dysfunctional family tries their best to live with each other while trying to escape the deadly grasp of lovelorn Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green).
