‘Two and a Half Men’ Season 11: CBS Renews, Angus T. Jones to Recur
CBS' 'Two and a Half Men' isn't about to let The CW and NBC have all the fun with their major renewals today. The eye network has officially added 'Two and a Half Men' to its other 18 series previously renewed, negotiating new deals with series stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer for one more year. Controversial star Angus T. Jones will return to the series as well in a recurring capacity, following the bizarre string of comments that saw the actor denouncing the show over his religious beliefs, but what else can we expect from 'Two and a Half Men' season 11?
It just won't die! After extended negotiations with series stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer, and long following Charlie Sheen's spectacular exit from the series, 'Two and a Half Men' has officially been announced to return for an 11th season this fall. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, including that Angus T. Jones would return to the series in a recurring capacity.
Previously talk of 'Two and a Half Men' season 11 carried the possibility that Jones would withdraw from the series, following the bizarre "Forerunner Chronicles" rants that saw the actor denouncing the long-running CBS series as "filth." Occasional guest star Miley Cyrus had been rumored to take the slot. Instead, Jones continues to negotiate with CBS and Warner Bros., his character likely attending college next year.
What say you? Are you excited to have yet another season of 'Two and a Half Men' to go around? Will Angus T. Jones last another year without lashing out? Give us your predictions in the comments!
