‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Announces Impressive Full Roster of Voice Talent
Disney's 'Wreck-It Ralph' has added a whole slew of impressive vocal talents to join actors John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman in this nostalgic tale of a video game baddie.
John C. Reilly voices the titular protagonist, a video game villain named Wreck-It Ralph whose work has been diminished by Fix-It Felix (Jack McBrayer, '30 Rock'). Felix has always been the good guy, and Ralph has always been the villain, until one day when a frustrated Ralph decides he's sick of being perceived as a nuisance and sets off on an adventure to prove he's a real hero.
Ralph adventures through various generations of video games, featuring some very familiar faces, and teams up with the twee Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) of the fictional racing game 'Sugar Rush' to defeat the most dangerous villain ever encountered in the world of the arcade.
The film is directed by Rich Moore ('The Simpsons,' 'Futurama') and hits theaters November 2. Disney just released the full cast list, and it's rather impressive:
Alan Tudyk (ABC’s 'Suburgatory,' 'Dodgeball') as King Candy, ruler of Sugar Rush, a candy-coated cart racing game
Ed O’Neill (ABC’s 'Modern Family') as Mr. Litwak, owner of Litwak’s Family Fun Center & Arcade
Mindy Kaling ('The Mindy Project,' 'The Office') as Taffyta Muttonfudge, an accomplished racer and Vanellope’s nemesis
Adam Carolla ('The Adam Carolla Show') as Wynchel, Sugar Rush security
Horatio Sanz ('Saturday Night Live') as Duncan, Sugar Rush security
Dennis Haysbert (CBS’s 'The Unit,' '24') as General from the first-person shooter game, Hero’s Duty
