A new year brings lots of new movies to look forward to, like X-Men: Apocalypse, the third film in the current X-Men trilogy, which features both familiar mutants and new additions — like Olivia Munn as Psylocke, the sword-wielding super-villain who teams up with Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypse as one of his nefarious four horsemen. The actress has shared a new photo of herself in character from the set of the new film, standing amid a bit of rubble.

Munn shared this photo to help kick off the new year, and while we can’t see just what caused all that destruction, it’s safe to guess that she had something to do with it:

Munn stars as Psylocke, a mutant with telekinetic powers who wields a badass sword. As the actress notes, the character could use those super-powers to battle her enemies, but she prefers using her more tangible weapons instead.

The actress joins Alexandra Shipp’s Storm, Ben Hardy’s Archangel and Michael Fassbender’s Magneto on the side of Apocalypse, an ancient super-villain who is able to amplify the abilities of those in his service. The quartet will present a formidable threat to the X-Men in the upcoming sequel:

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
