Sony senses they have something special on their hands with Marc Webb’s upcoming reboot ‘The Amazing Spider-Man.’ Tracking numbers released on Thursday say the film could earn as much as $125 million over the July 4 frame. (The numbers were slightly behind ‘The Avengers,’ and we all know how that movie played out.) And early reviews hitting the Web have been positive. So Sony’s making a wise decision and bringing Spidey to the fans earlier than expected. Find out how you can get tickets!

At the viral site Oscorp Industries, fans are being invited to special advance screenings of Webb’s ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ on Monday, July 2 in cities across the United States.

But there’s a catch. According to the site, details about the ticket collection location won’t be made available until the day of the screenings. From that point, there will only be 24 pairs of tickets available on a first come, first serve basis. So if you really want to see Webb’s ‘Spider-Man’ early, you’re going to have to swing into action … pun intended.

As you probably know, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ reboots the classic hero’s mythology with Andrew Garfield playing Peter Parker and Emma Stone as his childhood sweetheart, Gwen Stacy. Spidey’s nemesis this time out is the Lizard (Rhys Ifans), though several other familiar faces from Marvel’s Spidey universe take center stage.

If you miss out on tickets to these advanced screenings, ‘Spider-Man’ will open in theaters in 3D and IMAX on Tuesday, July 3.
