That classy Paul Feig — always directing and producing hilarious movies starring hilarious women. In addition to delivering Spy next month and working on the upcoming female-centric Ghostbusters movie, Feig will now also produce a new action comedy written by and starring the very amazing Amy Schumer.

THR reports that Schumer is teaming with her sister, Kim Caramele, to write the script for the action comedy, which centers on a mother and daughter on a vacation that goes horribly awry. The first draft was written by Katie Dippold, who penned The Heat and Feig’s upcoming Ghostbusters film.

Schumer will star in the untitled action comedy, which Feig will co-produce alongside his Feigco partner Jessie Henderson. The comedian and actress also wrote and stars in this summer’s Trainwreck, produced by Judd Apatow. That film marks Schumer’s first leading film role, and it’s a superb one. First Apatow, now Feig — Amy Schumer is keeping excellent producer company.

In addition to directing Ghostbusters and producing the new Schumer comedy, Feig is also developing a Play-Doh movie and producing a comedy scripted by Broad City creators/stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson.

In a time when Hollywood is coming under heavy fire from actresses and directors for its continual, blatant sexism, it’s good to see men like Feig and Apatow throw their support behind some of our coolest ladies. I just want to know how long we’ll have to wait before Schumer decides to direct her own movie.

And speaking of sexism in Hollywood, please take a moment to watch this sketch from Inside Amy Schumer, in which the comedian delivers a brilliant and hilarious takedown of the way Hollywood men force women to play into the “cool girl” stereotype:
