UPDATE: Now with a bonus, international trailer below, with tons of new footage!

Why would a man have a bag of bowling balls and a scorpion terrarium in his car? Well, that's Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) for you. And if the first full trailer for 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' didn't hit as many high notes as one might hope, this latest trailer delivers and then some.

Opening with Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) attending his own funeral, this new trailer features choice moments of News Chanel 4 hijinks, with Ron joined -- of course -- by Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and Champ Kind (David Koechner) in some delightfully silly bits. The trailer also reveals that there will definitely be a musical number, why Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) isn't around as much, and expands on the problems Ron and company have fitting into cable news.

Basically, this is a laugh out loud trailer that suggests great things. 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' is due in theaters December 20. Here's the film's synopsis:

With the 70's behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues."  Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) - All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking the country's first 24-hour news channel by storm.
