They've already had red-band and green-band trailers for Sean Anders' 'That's My Boy,' but it seems star Andy Samberg felt they lacked a personal touch. It also seems he felt they didn't highlight the film's fictional star-power, which includes Tom Cruise a gun-firing Rastafarian Hulk, and a sardine can full of comedy stars. Check out Samberg's cut of the trailer...

This fake trailer seems to have been done in about eighteen minutes and possibly out of boredom, but there's a laugh or two to be had from it. Though we've mostly been hearing about 'MacGruber' from the That's My Boy' press tour, Samberg also recently let it slip that he's out of 'SNL.'  That was a decision a long time coming, and reflects that he's got opportunities to star in movies like this one. But this trailer also suggests that he will be drawn to doing goofy little one-offs, either for the internet or 'SNL.'

'That's My Boy' opens June 15, and it's the first time in a long time Adam Sandler's done an R-rated movie, and it's also a big leading role for Samberg, who's mostly shown up for cameos after 'Hot Rod' bombed. So it's a risk for both parties. But, you know, no pressure.
