As you may now know, Ben Affleck was just cast as Batman in the upcoming 'Man of Steel' Sequel. And the makers of 'Runner Runner' couldn't let this buzz opportunity go, so they've just released a clip from the film that is very Affleck-centric to maybe get more people to see the film. He is Batman now, so who's to say?

The film stars Justin Timberlake and Affleck in a story about gambling and con-men, and though previous trailers haven't exactly piqued our interest, the film is written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who also wrote the supremely entertaining film 'Rounders.' This film is definitely in their wheelhouse, and we hope it delivers a similar fun ride.

The film could have more heat simply because it stars the new Batman, but generally that sort of hype rarely translates. It's not like millions of people rushed to see 'The Prestige' just because it came from Christopher Nolan and starred Wolverine and Batman. 'Runner Runner' opens October 4. Here's the film's synopsis:

Princeton grad student Richie, believing he’s been swindled, travels to Costa Rica to confront online gambling tycoon Ivan Block. Richie is seduced by Block’s promise of immense wealth, until he learns the disturbing truth about his benefactor. When the FBI tries to coerce Richie to help bring down Block, Richie faces his biggest gamble ever: attempting to outmaneuver the two forces closing in on him.
