Bradley Cooper is currently starring in a stage performance of 'The Elephant Man' in Williamstown, Massachusetts and we've got some photos of her first night as John Merrick. So how does the amazingly handsome Cooper (who once won People's "Sexiest Man Alive") play the grotesquely disfigured? Break out your best derp face and find out!

Cooper is now stranger to the theater, previously starring with Julia Roberts in a Broadway production of 'Three Days of Rain' (and had starred in an Actor's Studio adaptation of 'The Elephant Man' while in school). The actor is performing the part without the use of any prosthetics and, as you can see below, is using just his face and body to portray the deformities of the character.

Early reviews of the show say Cooper's performance is "strong and generous" even if it looks a little curious below.

Check out two photos from Cooper as The Elephant Man below and let us know what you think.

“The Elephant Man” is running at the Nikos Stage of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Williamstown, Mass. Through Aug. 5. For tickets and schedule call 413-597-3400, www.wtfestival.org.
