'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' will light up IMAX screens next November. The sequel to this year's 'The Hunger Games' is currently in production under the direction of Francis Lawrence, and he's been tinkering with those fancy IMAX cameras.

THR reports that Lawrence is filming some scenes with IMAX cameras, while the rest of the film will be digitally remastered for exhibition in IMAX theaters. Both regular and IMAX versions of 'Catching Fire' will release the same day, on November 22, 2013.

IMAX saw great success releasing 'The Hunger Games' on their screens, and will be releasing the film to 67 of its screens in China later this month.

'The Hunger Games' trilogy is the sort of big-budget, large-scope stuff that's perfectly suited for Imax presentation, allowing audiences to feel even further immersed in the world of the film.

Lawrence is best known for directing 'I Am Legend,' 'Water for Elephants,' and the divisive 'Constantine.' He is also of no relation to 'Hunger Games' star Jennifer Lawrence, so please do not ask him for her phone number because he's so sick of it and how come no one ever asks for his number, you know?

'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' will feature the further trials and tribulations of Katniss Everdeen as she prepares for another tournament. Yes, another tournament. What else do these people have to do? Have you seen where they live?
