Fox has just secured the rights to remake 'Guys and Dolls,' and they're hoping to get Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt to sign on, thus making sure the heads of young women everywhere explode.

After a lengthy process, Deadline reports that Fox has secured the rights to remake the classic musical 'Guys and Dolls.' The studio is hoping to sign Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt to fill the dancing shoes of Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brandon in the remake, and if reports are to be believed, both actors are interested in the roles.

Tatum certainly has the moves, as displayed in last year's stripper drama 'Magic Mike,' while Levitt has both the moves and the vocal chops -- we saw him show off his dancing in '500 Days of Summer,' and he's made YouTube videos with friend and '500 Days' co-star Zooey Deschanel in which the pair sing together.

The original musical was based on a series of Damon Runyon short stories about gangsters and gamblers in the 1920s and 30s, following Nathan Detroit (Sinatra), a guy trying to set up a gambling game in a town flooded with gamblers, who bets his friend Sky Masterson (Brando) that he can get the wholesome Sarah Brown to run off with him to Havana.
