Peter Jackson returns to Comic-Con's Hall H this year with 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' part one of two films based on the J.R.R. Tolkien book of the same name, and prequel to Jackson's 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy.

Also making an appearance? These awesome new Lego mini-figures based on Jackson's films. Warning: Cuteness ahead might make you geek out.

THR has an exclusive first look at the mini-figures from Lego's new 'Hobbit' set, which will release December 1, just in time for the film's December 14 premiere. Lego has the rights to both 'The Hobbit' and 'Lord of the Rings,' and will be unveiling these figures and their upcoming sets (as well as some fun secret stuff) at San Diego Comic-Con later this week.

The 'Hobbit' set below features the magnificent and wise Gandalf, Bilbo Baggins (the titular hobbit), and dwarves Dwalin, Bombur, Bofur and Balin.

These figures are too adorable, and if you're anything like us, you can't wait to get your hands on one of the new sets. While we haven't seen those yet, we feel confident in saying they'll look fantastic. And with the release of these latest Lego products, we're getting even more excited about their upcoming 'Lord of the Rings' video games.
