It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in August with this new photo from Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained,' featuring star Jamie Foxx in a snowy location with a shiny gun. We're pretty sure that's not how you light a fire, buddy.

This new photo (courtesy of The Playlist) doesn't show us too much, it's still pretty damn cool to look at. Jamie Foxx is in character as Django, and it looks like he's just shot off his gun at someone in a wintry middle of nowhere. We're really into the look on his face, which is like, "What did you just say to me?" That's some serious business right there.

The film follows Django, a slave in the south just two years before the Civil War, who meets up with a German bounty hunter by the name of Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz -- and how cool is that name?). Schultz is tracking down the dangerous and enigmatic Brittle brothers, and it seems Django is the only guy who can really help him find the trio. Schultz purchases Django and trains him with the promise that once he helps secure the bounty, he'll set him free so he can free his wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) from the evil plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).

'Django Unchained' hits theaters Christmas Day and co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Jonah Hill, Walton Goggins, Don Johnson, and RZA.
