The summer movie season starts earlier and earlier every year and while we're all excited for 'Captain America 2,' it's important to remember that there are a lot of other really great movies coming out soon. Case in point: the darkly funny crime-adventure-thriller-drama 'Dom Hemingway'.

Featuring one of Jude Law's best performances in years (ever?), 'Dom Hemingway' is a foul-mouthed British crime caper directed by Richard Shepard, who's directed multiple episodes of 'Girls'. To be clear, 'Dom Hemingway' is nothing like 'Girls' unless Lena Dunham delivered a hilarious and filthy monologue about the male sex organ. That's how 'Dom Hemingway' stars and it only gets better from there. Here's the official synopsis to help you better understand the plot:

Jude Law plays Dom Hemingway, a larger-than-life safecracker with a loose fuse who is funny, profane, and dangerous. After twelve years in prison, he sets off with his partner in crime Dickie (Richard E. Grant) looking to collect what he's owed for keeping his mouth shut and protecting his boss Mr. Fontaine (Demian Bichir). After a near death experience, Dom tries to re-connect with his estranged daughter (Emilia Clarke), but is soon drawn back into the only world he knows, looking to settle the ultimate debt.

And, did we mention 'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke turns up in a role that is as far apart from Daenerys of House Targaryen as you can get (she sings, and quite well!).

We've got an exclusive red-band clip from 'Dom Hemingway' above that should just about give you a taste of what you're in for. We're sure you're excited for the summer movies, but make sure to save some time for this movie.

'Dom Hemingway' opens in theaters on April 2.
