It feels like 'End of Watch' is one of those movies that's been silently brewing and slowly been capturing everyone's attention. Once the first trailer came out, our interest perked up. There's nothing like a good old fashioned cop movie to tickle our fancy. Now there's a brand new poster and we only have a couple of words to say: bring on the crime drama.

The movie is directed by David Ayer ('Harsh Times'), a man whose work hasn't strayed too far away from centering on law enforcement. Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña star in the picture with a cast that includes America Ferrera, Anna Kendrick, Frank Grillo, Natalie Martinez and David Harbour.

'End of Watch' is about two young Los Angeles police officers (Gyllenhaal, Peña) who patrol the city's meanest streets of South Central. It gives us an in-depth look at what kind of dangers these brave cops would have to encounter on a day-to-day basis. 'End of Watch' will be out in theaters nationwide on September 28th.

Open Road Fims has been expanding their film slate for the past couple of years. Between 'End of Watch' and Steven Soderbergh's latest movie 'The Bitter Pill,' it's neat to see the kind of moves that this company is taking. Now check out the new poster below.
