A new trailer has debuted  for Ciarán Foy's horror thriller 'Citadel.' The film will have its world premiere at the 2012 SXSW film festival next week in Austin, Texas.

Inspired by Foy's own agoraphobic experiences following a violent attack, 'Citadel' is the story of Tommy, a man who lost his wife after she was brutally murdered by a pack of feral children. Alone with his infant daughter, Tommy is being haunted by the same group of children that killed his wife and has become dreadfully agoraphobic. In order to escape this torture, Tommy must enter the tower block known as the Citadel to confront his past and overcome his current struggle.

The trailer for 'Citadel' is disorienting, dark, and effectively atmospheric. View the trailer and the official poster below, and if you're in Austin next week, definitely make an effort to catch this highly anticipated thriller.
