Back in October we saw the first trailer for ‘Focus,’ the new con-man romance thriller starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie (who will reunite soon for ‘Suicide Squad’) as quite an ambitious pair of criminals, who let their feelings for each other get in the way of their schemes. Today brings a second, longer trailer for the film, which sheds a little more light on the plot and brings these two classy criminals into, um, focus.

‘Focus’ comes from ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ writers and directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, but this film looks like it’s a bit more serious than their previous effort—and a bit more stylish, too, with all those electric blue lights. And if you ever wanted to hear Will Smith say “boobs” with a straight look on his face, this is your lucky day. It sounds kind of weird coming from the former Fresh Prince, right?

Smith stars as Nicky, a seasoned con artist who sees potential in the ambitious but misguided Jess (Robbie), so he takes her under his wing to teach her a thing or two about how to pull off more sophisticated cons. Unfortunately, Nicky and Jess can’t con their way out of their attraction for one another, and the two get romantically entangled before their relationship ultimately dissolves. A few years later, Nicky is in the midst of a con in Buenos Aires, when he encounters Jess, who’s made a career for herself as a femme fatale—but Jess’ new tricks wind up causing a lot of trouble for her former mentor and love interest.

That seems like a lot of info about the plot, but it’s all there—and then some—in the latest trailer. ‘Focus’ also stars Rodrigo Santoro and Gerald McRaney, and is scheduled to hit theaters on February 27, 2015.
