‘Gravity’ Contest: Win an Awesome Prize Pack From the Film!
‘Gravity‘ is one of the best movies of the year. There, we said it, though it should’ve been obvious since ‘Gravity’ is one of the very few films we’ve ever given a perfect 10/10 score to here on ScreenCrush. We’ve seen the film and already can’t wait to see it again. And, we can’t wait for you to see it, so we can all talk about it.
‘Gravity’ special screenings begin on 10pm Thursday, October 3rd and the film opens everywhere, Friday, October 4th. You’re gonna want to see this (and, we don’t always say this, but you’re gonna want to see this in IMAX 3D, if at all possible).
To celebrate the release of the film, we’ve got an awesome pack of ‘Gravity’ prizes for you to bring home. Academy Award® winners Sandra Bullock and George Clooney star in ‘Gravity,’ a heart-pounding thriller that pulls you into the infinite and unforgiving realm of deep space. The film was directed by Oscar® nominee Alfonso Cuarón (‘Children of Men’).
Dr. Ryan Stone (Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (Clooney) in command. But on a seemingly routine mission, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalski completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left.
But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
