Marvel’s breakout hit Guardians of the Galaxy is all about teamwork, and putting aside a group’s differences in order to achieve something great. It would appear that the cast has taken this same philosophy to heart when promoting the film, as the latest push for viral buzz has embodied the one-for-all, all-for-one camaraderie that made the original film such a likable presence at cineplexes. Much like the assorted aliens converging from far-flung planets to battle the force of evil, the assorted stars of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 have converged from far-flung social media platforms to battle the forces of underexposure.

A new batch of character-specific posters for the sequel due May 5 have surfaced online, each appearing on the corresponding actor‘s personal account. Michael Rooker, Zoe Saldana, and franchise newcomer Pom Klementieff all took to Twitter to tease the new look of Yondu, Gamora and newly introduced Mantis, respectively. Over on Instagram, Karen Gillan shared a glimpse of Nebula’s tough-gal mug, and on Facebook, Vin Diesel showed off Baby Groot while director James Gunn premiered the one-sheets for Ayesha, Ego, and Rocket. Fans will have to wait a short bit for Chris Pratt to get with the program and trot out the poster for Star-Lord, however.

The trading-card look very much gels with the Guardians series’ fixation on nostalgia, fitting right in with the worn-mixtape aesthetic that defined the first film. Only about a month and half left to wait — an eternity in movie-anticipation years.
