When 'Horrible Bosses' came out in 2011, it was one of a wave of comedies unleashed that summer (including 'Bridesmaids,' 'The Hangover Part II' and 'Bad Teacher'), but it was also one of the most successful, as it made over a hundred million at the box office on a smaller budget. Though it's hard to know how Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jason Bateman could have new horrible bosses, all have signed on for a sequel.

This news about 'Horrible Bosses 2' comes from The Hollywood Reporter, and they also note that Jamie Foxx is in negotiations to return as his character "Motherf---er" Jones, and that it's possible both previous horrible bosses Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston could have cameos in the film. The script comes from the same writers as the first film, John Francis Daley (who some might remember as Sam Weir on 'Freaks and Geeks') and Jonathan Goldstein.

Also returning is director Seth Gordon, who helmed the first film, and just recently made 'Identity Thief,' which has also crossed the $100 million dollar mark at the box office. Gordon, who broke through with his documentary 'King of Kong,' is now one of the most successful working comedy directors in Hollywood.
