It’s been six years since Angels and Demons, Ron Howard’s sequel to The Da Vinci Code, the mystery thriller based on Dan Brown’s best-selling novel. You might want to grab your parents for this one, because we have our first look at Inferno, the third film in the series featuring dad-hero Tom Hanks reprising his role as Robert Langdon along with a few new faces.

Columbia has revealed the first images and synopsis for Inferno, which finds Langdon going full soap opera when he awakens from a coma with amnesia but still has to manage to stop a maniacal bad guy from executing a sinister plot.

As you can see in the photos, Hanks is joined by Felicity Jones, Borgen star Sidse Babett Knudsen, Omar Sy and Irrfan Khan — not pictured is co-star Ben Foster, who presumably plays the villain. Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons director (and reliable Hanks pal) Ron Howard returns to direct the upcoming sequel.

And here’s the official plot for Inferno, which should be releasing an official teaser trailer relatively soon:

Robert Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks, a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague connected to Dante’s “Inferno.”

Inferno hits theaters on October 14, 2016.
