Et tu, Kate Winslet? There must be something about this 'Divergent' movie because it is racking up some serious talent. It's been finally confirmed that Winslet has officially joined the cast of the upcoming film, led by Shailene Woodley.

Based on the young adult fiction novel by Veronica Roth, 'Divergent' is kind of a big deal right now, at least in the world of young adult fiction movie adaptations. Deadline reports that Kate Winslet is the latest name to join a pretty solid cast that already includes Shailene Woodley, Jai Courtney, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Q, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, and Ray Stevenson. It was previously reported some time ago that Winslet was in negotiations to star, though nothing had been confirmed at that time.

Maybe it's just something about that Shailene Woodley girl, who is blowing up right now -- this will be Miles Teller's second time working with her after the pair starred in 'The Spectacular Now' together.

'Divergent' tells the story of a world in which people are split up into factions based on personality types, with their jobs, friends, likes, dislikes, and their spouses all selected based on their type. But as these young adult stories go, one girl decides to defy her predetermined destiny and so an epic adventure is born. The film is set for a March 21, 2014 release, so that gives them more than enough time to add a few more awesome names to this cast list. Hell, if you can land Kate Winslet, there must be something pretty great there.
