You know him as Neo from The Matrix and as Ted from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. But did you know Keanu Reeves has a strange habit of playing guys named John? He was Johnny Utah in the original Point Break, Johnny Mnemonic in, uh, Johnny Mnemonic, and John Wick in John Wick and the new John Wick: Chapter 2. And there are lots more examples. As Keanu himself might say: Whoa. That’s just one of the facts featured in the newest episode of You Think You Know Movies!

Keanu also has a history of accepting pay cuts to make sure his movies can afford co-stars he wants to work with. On The Devil’s Advocate, he accepted a much smaller salary so the film could cast Al Pacino as his Satanic lawyer boss, and on The Replacements he reportedly took 90 percent less than his usual rate to work with Gene Hackman. (We could not confirm reports that after getting both men hired, Reeves went to each and said “You owe me a life.”)
