If a decade of watching Liam Neeson action movies has taught me anything, it has taught me this: Do not mess with Liam Neeson. (It’s also taught me how to echolocate someone using grenades, but that’s a subject for another time.) Neeson may be older than my father, but he has all the special skills needed to break you in half without breaking a sweat. He does not suffer fools, and he is afraid of no one.

You would also be wise not to touch his hard-earned salary. Watch the clip above of Neeson from the junket for his latest vehicle, The Commuter. He is asked about equal pay for actors and actresses, a subject given extra attention this week after the report that Mark Wahlberg received about $1.5 million more for the All the Money in the World reshoots than his co-star, Michelle Williams (who basically worked for free). Neeson responds to the question by insisting that women should be paid the same as men. End of story. But make sure you watch the whole clip. The best part is the end:

To recap: Men and women are equal, and should be paid equally. But don’t you even think about cutting Neeson’s pay to level things off. That is not happening. Try it and he will come for you. And he will find you. And he will not be a happy Liam Neeson. Speaking of which: The Commuter is in theaters tomorrow!
